SciScrape

Beta terms

Last updated 2026-09-28.

This is a closed beta

You have access because you were invited to test SciScrape before general availability. Features, pricing, and even parts of the interface may change without notice — that feedback is exactly what this stage is for (see Send feedback in the app rail).

No warranty

The service is provided "as is," without guarantees of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. Search results, AI-generated syntheses, and reviewer classifications are aids to your own judgment, not a substitute for it — always verify a citation or claim before relying on it in your own work.

Beta software can lose data. Back up anything you can't afford to lose — a manuscript draft, a project's uploaded documents — outside SciScrape as well as inside it.

Your content stays yours

Uploading a manuscript, a dataset, or a paper draft doesn't transfer any rights in it to us. We use it only to provide the service back to you (search, chat, review) — see Privacy for exactly what that means and who it's shared with.

Plans and passes

Free access remains available within its published limits. Thesis and Manuscript Passes are one-time purchases with a fixed end date and no automatic renewal. Researcher and Power User are subscriptions. Check the price, duration and renewal terms at checkout before paying.

Confidentiality

If you're testing the Pre-publication Review module with real, unpublished work (a thesis draft, a manuscript before submission), that content is treated as confidential — see Privacy's "Manuscripts and reviews are private" section for exactly what that guarantees.
